planning<\/a> fun is to give each night a theme.\u00a0 You can do Meatless Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, Pasta Thursday, Fish Friday, Sandwich Saturday and Seafood Sunday.\u00a0 Having a basic guideline to follow will save you time and make your life easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-drink-more-water\"><strong>Drink more water<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s important to stay hydrated so your brain and body functions properly.&nbsp; When you don\u2019t drink enough water, you\u2019ll experience <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brain_fag_syndrome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brain fog<\/a>, low energy levels, headaches, dry skin and other health issues.&nbsp; Generally, you want to drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day.&nbsp; An easy way to tell if you\u2019re drinking enough water is to look at the color of your urine.&nbsp; If it\u2019s clear or pale yellow, you\u2019re good to go.&nbsp; If it\u2019s darker, you need to increase your water intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reduce-the-salt-in-your-diet\"><strong>Reduce the salt in your diet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people eat about twice the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/salt\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recommended amount of sodium per day<\/a> and it\u2019s not because you\u2019re sprinkling too much table salt.\u00a0 A good chunk of most people\u2019s daily sodium intake actually comes from eating processed and prepared foods.\u00a0 Reducing the sodium in your diet can lower the risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart.org\/en\/health-topics\/high-blood-pressure\/the-facts-about-high-blood-pressure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high blood pressure<\/a>, heart disease and stroke.\u00a0 You can cut back by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comparing labels and making choices that have the lowest sodium levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Picking reduced or lower sodium versions of your favorite condiments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buying fresh meat, fruits and vegetables<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using salt-free seasonings and spices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cut-down-on-alcohol\"><strong>Cut down on alcohol<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drinking excessively can take a negative toll on your body over time.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alcohol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alcohol<\/a> is full of empty calories, which can cause you to gain weight.\u00a0 Plus, it can lead to health issues such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountsinai.org\/health-library\/diseases-conditions\/alcoholic-liver-disease\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">liver disease<\/a>, high blood pressure and stroke.\u00a0 The best thing to do is to cut it out of your diet completely.\u00a0 But if you must drink, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/alcohol\/fact-sheets\/alcohol-use.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">do it in moderation<\/a>.\u00a0 This means having no more than 2 drinks per day for men and 1 drink for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-exercise-regularly\"><strong>Exercise regularly<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/physicalactivity\/basics\/adults\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDC<\/a> recommends doing 30 minutes of <a habit of bringing their phones to bed with them.\u00a0 They figure they\u2019ll just surf the internet or check their social media until they get tired.\u00a0 But hours later, they\u2019re still awake.\u00a0 Sleep is an important part of your overall well-being so make sure you get enough rest.\u00a0 Ideally, you want to get at least 7 hours of sleep per night.\u00a0 You can improve your sleep by having a set bedtime, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sleepfoundation.org\/nutrition\/caffeine-and-sleep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">avoiding caffeine<\/a>, removing the
