Well, you\u2019re about to start experiencing d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu.&nbsp; Over the last 7 days the United States has averaged more than 157,000 new cases of COVID-19 daily.&nbsp; As the numbers rapidly increase, people have begun <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Panic_buying\" target=\"_blank\">panic buying<\/a> again fearing another <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/COVID-19_pandemic_lockdowns\" target=\"_blank\">lockdown<\/a>.&nbsp; Hopefully, it won\u2019t happen, but it\u2019s good to be prepared.&nbsp; Here are some items to buy now before they\u2019re sold out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-thermometers\"><strong>Thermometers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people who caught COVID-19 started experiencing symptoms 2-14 days after being exposed.&nbsp; Common signs to watch out for are fatigue, shortness of breath, cough, muscle aches and fever.&nbsp; The flu also comes with similar symptoms which can make it hard to differentiate between the two.&nbsp; If you start experiencing any of these symptoms take your temperature and follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/prevent-getting-sick\/prevention.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDC guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-disinfecting-sprays-and-wipes\"><strong>Disinfecting sprays and wipes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CDC recommends disinfecting frequently touched objects.&nbsp; Key areas to wipe down are doorknobs, light switches, toilets, keyboards, and countertops.&nbsp; The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Environmental_Protection_Agency\" target=\"_blank\">Environmental Protection Agency<\/a> has a list of products that can be used to kill the coronavirus.&nbsp; Products shown to be effective are Lysol Disinfectant Spray, Lysol Disinfecting Wipes (All Scents), Lonza Formulation R-82 and Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hand-sanitizer-and-soap\"><strong>Hand sanitizer and soap<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The best way to protect yourself from getting sick is to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.&nbsp; Since that isn\u2019t always possible when you\u2019re out in public, carry a bottle of hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol with you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-toilet-paper\"><strong>Toilet paper<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are some things you never want to run out of, and toilet paper is at the top of the list.&nbsp; Unfortunately, it\u2019s been hard to come by since the pandemic began.&nbsp; As soon as the stores restock their shelves, it\u2019s sold out again.&nbsp; So if you happen to see it, make sure you pick up a few rolls.&nbsp; Even if it\u2019s not the brand you normally use, it\u2019s still better than being forced to use your sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-exercise-equipment\"><strong>Exercise equipment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone needs at least 30 minutes of exercise per day.&nbsp; But, if the COVID-19 cases start rising too high, gyms are going to be one of the first things to close again.&nbsp; Your only other option will be to workout at home.&nbsp; Invest in a set of dumbbells and any other exercise equipment you can afford so you have no excuse not to work out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-baking-supplies\"><strong>Baking supplies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While being forced to self-quarantine, many people took up baking to cope with stress.&nbsp; According to Google, the most searched for recipes were for banana bread and pancakes.&nbsp; With the weather getting colder and the pandemic dragging on, we\u2019re going to be stuck indoors a few more months.&nbsp;
