target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">germs<\/a>.\u00a0 Therefore, it\u2019s important to clean those areas properly.\u00a0 Here are some tips for cleaning your devices.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 id=\"h-how-to-disinfect-your-phone-or-tablet\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to disinfect your phone or tablet<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studies have shown that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Smartphone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">smartphones<\/a> tend to be 10 times dirtier than the average toilet seat.\u00a0 Anytime you use your phone in public, drop it on the ground or let someone borrow it, it\u2019s a good idea to clean it right after.\u00a0 Always read the manufacturer\u2019s recommendations before cleaning your device.\u00a0 The last thing you want is to accidentally ruin your phone or tablet.\u00a0 If no instructions are available, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDC<\/a> recommends using wipes or sprays containing at least 70% alcohol to disinfect your electronics.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>As a safety precaution, turn off and unplug your device before beginning the cleaning process.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>If your phone or tablet has a protective case, remove it.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Dampen a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Microfiber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">microfiber<\/a> cloth with your cleaning solution.\u00a0 Avoid using paper towels because they can leave behind scratches.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Wipe down all areas of your phone or tablet avoiding any openings.\u00a0 You don\u2019t want to get any fluids inside your headphone jack or charging port.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Before putting your
